AirtelTigo now offers a Self-PIN Reset option for all of its ATMoney subscribers

Struggling to remember your ATMoney PIN? Don’t sweat it! This tutorial walks you through a hassle-free process to reset your PIN and regain access to your ATMoney wallet.

It’s easy, convenient, and secure, allowing you to send cash, make payments, and top up airtime for yourself and others on various networks.

In today’s article, we’ll be going through two different ways you can reset your AT Money PIN if you feel the need for it or think it has been compromised.

How To Reset Your ATMoney (AirtelTigo Money) PIN Using The AT Mobile App.

To reset your ATMoney PIN, follow these steps:

  1. Download the AT Mobile App on your Android or iPhone.
  2. Tap on Link Your Number, then enter your AT number to sign in.
  3. Verify the OTP sent to you and proceed.
  4. Select Money from the menu below.
  5. Enter your current ATMoney PIN.
  6. Slide the card menu at the top to your left until you see My Account.
  7. On this page, select Change PIN.
  8. Enter your Current PIN to proceed.
  9. Now enter a new PIN and repeat the PIN to confirm.
  10. Success. Your ATMoney PIN has been successfully changed.

How To Reset Your ATMoney (AirtelTigo Money) PIN Using Shortcode.

Before we dive in, make sure you’ve registered for Self-PIN Reset. This handy feature lets you conveniently reset your ATMoney PIN anytime, anywhere, should you need to. Remember, use your phone number, and it can be from any network provider.

Follow the steps below to register for the Self-PIN Reset service:

  1. Dial *110#.
  2. Select Option 8 [My Account].
  3. Select Option 4 [Self-PIN Reset].
  4. Then select Option 1 [Register].
  5. Choose any of the two methods:
    • Reset PIN using your secret word.
    • Reset PIN using an alternative number.
  6. We’ll use Option 2 for this tutorial since it is much more difficult to forget your number than a secret word.
  7. Select Option 2 [Reset PIN using an alternative number].
  8. Enter your current ATMoney PIN to continue.
  9. Now enter an Alternative Number [Your new PIN will be sent to your alternative number anytime you reset your PIN.] – (E.g. 0541234567)
  10. Confirm your Alternative Number by repeating it.
  11. Done. Your Alternative Number has been registered successfully.

Now that the Self-PIN registration is out of the way, let’s proceed to how you can reset your ATMoney PIN:

  1. Dial *110#.
  2. Select Option 8 [My Account].
  3. Select Option 4 [Self-PIN Reset].
  4. Then select Option 2 [Register PIN (if you are already registered)].
  5. Select Option 2 [Reset PIN using an alternative number].
  6. Choose Option 1 [Yes]. Your new PIN will be sent via SMS to the alternative number.
  7. Dial *110# again.
  8. Select Option 1 [To Proceed].
  9. Enter the ATMoney PIN sent to your alternative number.
  10. Now enter a New PIN.
  11. Confirm the New PIN.
  12. Done. You have successfully changed your ATMoney PIN.
