If you use Instagram, you probably want your photos and videos to look great. To make sure they do, remember to turn on high-quality uploads in the Instagram app.

This helps your posts stand out and look better!

Turning on the “Upload at the highest quality” option in Instagram may not make a big difference for photos, but it can really help improve the quality of your video posts.

Instagram on Android and iOS lets you upload photos and videos at the highest quality.

Even though the app looks similar on both platforms, there’s a slight difference in where you can find the High-Quality uploads option.

How To Upload High-Quality Photos and Videos on Instagram on Android

  1.  Open the app drawer to search and launch the Instagram app on your Android phone.
  2. Tap on the profile icon in the bottom-right corner to go to your profile.
  3. Tap the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner to open the menu.
  4. Tap on the Settings option from the menu that pops up.
  5. Under Settings, tap on the Account option.
  6. On the Account page, tap the ‘Cellular data use’ option.
  7. Turn on the toggle next to the ‘Upload at highest quality’ option.

How To Upload High-Quality Photos and Videos on Instagram on iPhone

  1. Launch the Instagram app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on your profile picture icon in the bottom-right corner.
  3. Tap the three horizontal lines in the upper-right corner.
  4. Tap on the Settings from the menu that pops up.
  5. Under Settings, tap on the Account option.
  6. On the Account page, tap Data Usage.
  7. Turn on the toggle next to ‘Upload at the highest quality.’
