You can transfer airtime from your Vodafone to another Vodafone number using a specific shortcode. This tutorial will guide you through the steps of sharing Vodafone credit with another Vodafone number.
Many subscribers are unaware of the shortcode required for transferring credit to their loved ones.
According to the telecommunications giant Vodafone, sharing credit with subscribers is straightforward and can be done anytime and anywhere. This subscription process is called P2P (I-SHARE) credit transfer.
To transfer Vodafone credit to another Vodafone number, just follow the steps below.
How To Transfer Airtime From Vodafone To Vodafone
- On your phone dial, *516#.
- A welcome message will pop up, select option 1 to transfer credit.
- Enter the destination number. (The number you want to transfer to credit to) Eg. 020XXXXXXX or 050XXXXXXX
- Enter the amount you want to send.
- Enter your PIN. (Default PIN is 1234)
- Now Enter 1 to confirm.
You can also transfer the credit in this format; Dial *516*recipient’s number*credit in Ghana cedis*PIN# and send. Eg. To transfer GHc 5 to 0201234567, follow the steps below;
*516*0201234567*5*1234# and send.
Note: A service fee of 5pesewas will be charged per transfer.
